Today, my eldest daughter has 'officially' removed herself from our family and will no longer communicate with any of us. Apparently it's my fault that her younger sister is having a baby before her, and she can't be part of a family that 'treats her so unfairly'. FML

I don't know about anyone else, but if I was the younger sister I would not include her as an aunt. This idea that "it's family so we have to include them" is bull shit. The eldest sister has shown that she is not willing to put aside her bitter jealousy to be there for her sister, so I doubt she would be a good person to include in the child's life. If the eldest ever had a kid, she would likely constantly pit the cousins against one another and no one needs that sort of negativity in their child's life.
