Today, my ex-boyfriend called to tell me that he had always made a point to eat some form of meat before making out with me. He'd known I was a vegetarian since the day we met. FML

It sounds like he just made up a lie because you two are no longer together, i mean if he ever cared about you why would he do such a thing when you were dating.

It's not that she had contact with meat, its the fact that her ex put in the extra effort just to be an asshole

.....And? It's not like he was shoving bacon in your mouth or giving you an IV drip of steak.

YDI for believing some BS story that an ex told you to make you angry, when it was obviously a ridiculous lie, grow up, why would he have reason to do that when with you?

Maybe because he didn't approve of it or didn't like her doing it so he did this

to be quite frank; all that's going to do is make his semen bitter. You didn't conciously do anything so I don't know what you're worried about.

I wouldn't worry about to much OP, I'm sure he just said that to piss you off because you two aren't together anymore. I really doubt that he took the time to plan a meat binge before making out with you, that's just weird. Wonder if he carried around a cooler of deli meat...just in case?

I was a very strict vegetarian for years, I never 'cheated' once. Even I think you getting upset about this is extreme. Sure, the ex is a douche who didn't respect your values, but it's not like you actually ate meat. That's the point of being a vegetarian, is shunning animal flesh, not shunning anything that has ever come in contact with it. If you're going to be a respectable vegetarian, learn that, OP. Not saying you were in the wrong, either. Ex is a royal asshat for doing that on purpose. But don't let stuff like that get your panties in a bunch if it's on accident either.

He was looking out for you. You can't possibly go on forever without some form of meat in your diet. If your body ends up not absorbing what it needs or getting what it needs then try adding organic meats and dairy they are treated better. Though almond, rice, and soy milks do seem better for you then regular milk.

He was trying to supplement your diet. He cared for you and didn't want you missing out on proper nutrition

hes probley making it up to get back at you if you broke up with him or had a bad break up, people get weird after break ups

You totally ******* deserve it. Vegetarianism is incredibly ******* retarded. If I knew your ex, I would shake his hand and give him $20 right now.

No, vegetarianism is not "retarded." It's not a mental disability. It's a personal choice. "Retarded" should not be used as an insult (just like "gay"). I respect my friend's choice to not eat meat/make a vegetarian option for her when she visits me. So you need to **** off, and stop bashing OP for her choice to not eat meat.
