My uncle almost punched me in this same situation. >.>
WOO! Chris Brown that ho!
I find this as a reasonable reaction to a surprise, a bit violent but surely it's also a bit understandable isn't it? I am sure almost anyone here as a friend or someone they know who has reacted in such a way when getting surprised? Or at least seen it happen in some form of (reasonable, not comedic) media? I have several friends myself that I have been hit by, for surprising them, not out of anger out of pure reaction alone. I even have a friend that if she gets scared or surprised enough she has once or twice hit herself (I know it's odd, but true) People that are downing this because it was a 'stupid' or 'violent' act, take it easy, shit happens as the saying goes, and one day when you punch someone out of surprise, you'll feel stupid I am sure. No hard feelings all.
my little sister punched me in the face when i jumped out and scared her, it was pretty funny.
Have (some of) you people not heard of the term "fight or flight"? Imagine walking into your dark house expecting that no one is home, flipping the light switch and then SURPRISE!!! It is a natural human reaction to A.) start swinging or B.) get the hell out. So the next time you get scared are you really going to sit there and evaluate the situation or take action? Quit calling the OP an asshole it's not like they really had the intention of socking their mom one
Punch first, questions later - yeah, that's how he rolls
