Today, my father came back from a business trip in Canada. He handed me an "I Love Canada" pen. He brought back an Xbox 360 for my younger brother. FML

this happened to me about oh 30 yrs ago. My dad gets back from a tour of Germany, brings back my older sister a ton of stuff, brings back mom stuff. For me? well he forget and he told me so. I forgot to get some stuff for you, so here's the playing cards they had on the plane. Left home at 18 never went back.

Its not like you both need one each to play... Maybe it was for the both of you?

It's not the fact that they can both play on it. It's the fact that the bastard father got something worth $199.99 plus for a sibling and something worth $.99 for the person.

I don't think it was for both, but just play the xbox. jeez. get some halo in your schedule!!

don't worry dude the xbox 360 is not even good :/

that's not the point he's upset over his father showing favoritism

Don't worry, I believe Games tend to be restricted by region. Such as, you cannot play a game that you bought in Europe on an Xbox 360 from Australia Unless you're in the US (I'm not sure if the US and Canada have the same region code).

yeah u can my friend has a Singaporean box and he played games he bought In USA. u nnes an adapter to hook it up to the wall

I live in Canada and I bought my xbox in USA

The audacity of it. He gets a gift, you two will share, and you get a nice pen all to your own. Your dad is evil to you. yes. Sorry, i don't' see how you lost out. usa and canada have same region and some games on xbox 360 are region free.

Maybe he thought you should be out working instead of playing video games (lame, I know). You know, he'd figure the younger one should get the video games. I dunno. Or maybe the Xbox was for both of you, so you actually came out on top with a pen! I mean, you probably are going to be able to play it, too.

I bet it was brothers birthday or something. Just trying to make it sound FML material.

... Are you serious?!! "French?"?!! Sigh... Yes, some Canadians speak French. HOWEVER, it depends on WHERE in Canada you are. Most places speak English.

# 14 ... No. They run off the same electrical output - it's different in Europe, though. I live in Canada and have the console myself. It's not in French unless you change the settings. I believe Xboxs are /imported/ into the country and not actually manufactured in English/Quebec French.
