Today, my father was playing with my son and his toy animals. He picked one up and said, "What is this? Some kind of African horse?" It was a zebra. FML

To me it sounds like he was joking. You know how when people play with kids they sometimes ask questions on purpose so the child answers and feels smart. It's a form of endearment.
