Today, my fiancé and I toured our dream home. I was so excited about it that I posted all kinds of pictures of it on Facebook. My boss's daughter just called and said she loved my pictures so much she made an offer on the house. We were 1 week away from making an offer. FML

Today, my boyfriend proposed to me. My boss called me into her office and congratulated me, and spent almost half an hour asking me what our wedding plans were, where we might honeymoon, if we wanted kids, etc. She then followed this by suddenly remembering she had called me into the office to sack me. Today, I discovered that my fiancé had responded to an online missed connection posting. He has been emailing, exchanging pictures and making plans to go out with this girl. We are supposed to be married in the fall and just put down the non-refundable deposit on our reception site. FML

I clicked both. When you want something all to yourself but don't actually have it yet, you don't show it off and entice other people with it. Still a bitch thing to do though, because posting pictures of your "dream house" should kinda indicate you want to buy it.

in this economy a lot of people are buying houses with the cheap prices. i know when my husband and me bought our house we lost out on 7 before that. you should never wait a week on a house! always bid that day. if there are doubts its not the house for you. also, if you need to get your finances together you can't afford the house. flat out.
