Today, my fiancé nervously sat me down for a "serious chat". The chat wound up with him asking if we could postpone our wedding, because his World of Warcraft guild had a raid scheduled for the same day. FML

as far as I know, there is NOTHING in wow worth postponing a wedding for. Even if it was a world first deathwing. Yes, I'm a nerd Life>wow

Why would someone do that..? There is a time for fun and games and a time for life..

Anyone who votes YDI for this is stupid

Did anyone else realize that mostly girls are commenting that they need to get out of it or husbands don't have lives? I'm a girl and I think I would do the same as the husband :)

You're actually getting married to this guy?

I play the game a lot but this is just sad.

I'm all for my husban playing video games, and was fine with him playing WoW, but when it started interfering with family time and him asking to postpone things for the game, I told him he had to choose - his wife and kids or the video game. He has since given up WoW and picked up other games he finds just as fun but much less addictive and "time sensitive" so he can have the best of both worlds :)

World of Warcraft raids...it's come serious shit. Can he not just postpone the raid? Hopefully you're more important to him than some computer game.

If you still married him get used to him putting your real life on the back burner for virtual nonsense. What is he going to ask you to do next push back the birth of your first child? Im pretty sure this level of addiction didnt just creep up on you, he must have canceled plans and chosen playing over spending time with you over the course of your engagement if he's willing to ditch the wedding date for some virtual bs. Do you really want to waste your life watching him sit in a chair and waste his?
