Aw come ON now. If that was the only way she could pay for her education, you should be proud that she did so and didn't just sit around and be a bum. (Assuming, of course, that she's working.) If she's expecting you to pay for it all, that's one thing. But I'd guess she's going to be doing it herself, just maybe needing a little help here and there. OVer the next 50 years.....

Maybe you need to go back to school, OP. Fiancé = male Fiancée = female School is expensive, as long as she's taking something from it to, you know, make a career for herself I don't see a problem. She should be able to pay the loans on her own. Just because she's your wife (I'm assuming now since this FML is old, unless you broke-up with her over the matter) doesn't mean you have to pay her loan.
