There was a flick starring Robert Downey Jr. called Two Girls and a Guy with this exact plot. Two women are standing outside a loft building in NYC waiting for their boyfriend and start talking...then discover they're both dating the same guy. Wacky hijinks ensue. It's one of the few rom-coms I've ever considered funny. If you both love him, maybe consider some sort of open relationship? I mean, you'll have to talk about how hurt and shocked and angry you both are, and how cheating isn't acceptable behavior, and work out some rules, but it might work. If you're not open to that idea, well, DTMFA, both of you.
