IrishJane and lucidlucia are correct. You need to drag your fiance into this. Tell him what his mother said, and have him sit down with her and explain why he disagrees with her. Mother-in-laws are usually just afraid you're going to take their baby away and don't want to feel replaced. If that's not the case, you and your fiance should probably stay far away from that woman.

get revenge. make the entire rest of the family love you. be sweet as pie to her at all times in front of your man and the rest of the family. if shes rude to you in front of them, break out the heartbroken tears and promise her that you will do better to make her love you. then when no ones around, treat her how she treats you.
