I fail to see why he deserved this? Sure, in hindsight it was silly that she took the advice of an internet survey, but in foresight there was perhaps no way he could predict that she was going to break up with him, especially with such a pathetic excuse. He didn't "choose" for her to be like this. There's a lot of YDIs, so someone tell me why he deserved this.
