There's a difference between judging someone, and believing that their words mean something. Maybe I'm being a feminist here, but any girl who thinks that "girls shouldn't be judged too quickly" bring the image of the entire gender down. TRUE WOMEN expect to be respected whenever they say something, and for whatever they say. And for the record, the girl's "joke" was incredibly stupid and immature. Anyone who sends jokes like that evidently aren't mature enough to date. Not to mention, since it was text, there was no tone context to indicate to OP to judge otherwise! But what the hell, let's just not take what girls say seriously. 84 - The problem there is that many guys (such as myself) have been in relationships where we'd have to decipher almost everything. If you're in one of those for awhile or a few back to back, it know of gets in your head. The girl I'm with now, in the beginning it was hard to understand that she was being direct since I'd had such hellish experiences with other girls. Sometimes guys just can't really understand if what a girl says is true or not. It sucks, but that's how most people (at least younger ) are nowadays.

Well yeah I understand where it comes from, and I know there's a reason to why many guys think this way, and it really is unfortunate how us girls who aren't that way end up falling.into that stereotypical category :( but I know where you're coming from, no worries

But I don't think he should be sucking up to her for forgiveness as much as they both need to either sit down and talk about their relationship with equal fault to be shared.
