No, that's not okay. If OP is neglecting her, and she has a problem, then she needs to make it known to OP, and she might need to be vocal about it, too. And if he really, truly, isn't listening, or doesn't care, then she needs to end the relationship and leave him, THEN find somebody else. Not the other way around.

Did you ever ask what might happen to her if she just up and left? You don't know what her boyfriend is capable of. Women are very delicate beings. They need attention. If they don't get it from the people who are supposed to love them the most, then they have the right to go get it somewhere else.

What do we know, maybe OP did not attend the party with his (I hope ex-) gf because of he had to prepare for an important exam or he had another reason to not attend the party - maybe he just does not like parties, who knows. The problem here is that the sex did not seem so "random." You are assuming OP was doing something innocent. He could have very easily been cheating himself. You are rushing to judgement. All I know is that guys cheat anytime they want a piece of ass. Girls cheat because the guy usually screws them over or neglects them. All we know was she was alone. Nothing in his post says he was studying or anything else. Don't you think that is a little suspicious?

But the post does not say that OP was cheating or doing something bad. He MIGHT have done, but he MIGHT have been studying or watching TV. That is something that only OP knows. And there is one saying - "in dubio pro reo" - if you have no proof that the person who you are judging, did something bad, the person is innocent. That is. Girls may be delicate beings, but they are humans too. And because they are humans, some of them cheat. You can dislike it, you can hate it, but that does not mean it never happened and never happens.

Woman may "cheat" just as much as men, but it is different than when guys cheat. Guys cheat to get off, see a new woman naked, ect ect. How often do women really cheat because they only want to get off? Never. Women who "cheat" usually are neglected, abused, or otherwise hurt by their significant other. Psychologists have confirmed this. You don't THINK he woudl have posted if he also cheated, but don't you think it is suspicious that he didn't even mention what he was doing while he ditched his drunken girlfriend while she was in a house full of drunken men. What did he expect to happen? Cookies and milk and monopoly? Do you really think that if he made time to be with her, comfort her, and actually love her that she would've had to turn to another guy to get the affection?
