i find it hard to believe you were with her for 8 years as "the other guy" and didn't know. unless you are that stupid. a few months without knowing is possible, but 8 years? what did you do on holidays and birthdays if you were the other guy? im guessing you didn't meet her family, which would be really weird after 8 years if you ask me. and her friends must be awesome actors if they can go 8 years without letting something slip. i really hope this is a joke or some really bad mistyping because if not, wow. if thats really how it was, no wonder she picked you to be "the other guy." being with you held no risk of exposure. sorry to say it, but she never liked you dude.

WOW quick to assume people, it's called a long-distance relationship and now maybe that that guy is moving closer and she wants to fully be with him. It's not that hard to conceal IM convos and phone calls. #29 being married, especially when you have kids, is more than a 'piece of paper'. if they aren't legal spouses, they can't even be next of kin in emergencies or file taxes together. that's not very responsible when you have children.
