Today, my girlfriend of over a year broke up with me. Two weeks ago she complained that I didn't act like I really loved her. I then became more involved and caring just for her to show my love. The reason she broke up with me? Because I was "suffocating her with clinginess." FML

Yeah she was pretty much wanting to break up with you from the time she started complaining. Hopefully next time you'll find a girl who will be straight with you about whatever the issue is instead of stringing you on like that.

Poor OP I understand you... I gave everything to my ex girlfriend, helped her when she needed me and all I got was a bitchy behavior, an ignorance. I feel fine with myself, I did nothing bad or wrong. Its just you girls must finally grow up and decide what you want.
