I would have posted a picture on her FB of a raisin and said " OMG! I found this in a box of photos! My mom said it's not you, but I think it looks JUST like you!"

I doubt she meant it in an insulting way. its actually pretty funny. sometimes pics are good and look nothing like the person it happens. At least its not a bad pic and she says you look "nice"...ya know? .
