Today, my grandmother sat me down and gave me a talk about the importance of personal hygiene. According to her, it's important that I shower twice a day, because, "Fat people tend to have a most curious smell about them." FML

ok her grandmother may have been a little out of line, but that is no reason to insult her, not all of the elderly wear diapers and to any other person's variation of diaper pull up or soiling herself shame on you

Considering that old people tend to lose their sense of smell, if you're rank enough that Granny had to sit you down, get your fat ass into the shower!

The sad thing is it's a little true my friend is a little over wait since she had her kids well like 156 pounds added to her 100 so now she is doesn't like to bathe for days or wash clothes so now most of her things smell like period.I've even offered to let her use my washer and dryer

Actually, she is right. On the less hygienic morbidly obese, fungus can grow in the folds of their skin where light seldom reaches. It is kinda smelly as well.

Thats teribe. Don't let what she said get ou dwn. Some people have no filter and don't think. SHe seems pretty judgemental and I know she is family, but try not to let it affect your own feelings negativiely!
