Today, my husband and I announced our upcoming divorce. My friends told me how sorry they were and that they're available for whatever I need. His friends told him to just call the girl from last weekend and get himself laid again. FML

please correct me if I'm wrong but if there announcing it then wouldn't the divorce already have started with the paperwork and whatever you gotta do so wouldn't they be considered seperated and he didn't cheat? I don't know anyone who ever got divorced except my cousin and that's because his wife cheated and chose to leave when he said he would forgive her. so a little unsure on how it works.

very true. I just saw a lot of people assuming he cheated. personally I think you should stay faithful until the divorce is finalized and his friends are assholes for encouraging such behavior
