If they make you feel uncomfortable in your own home they aren't worth your time, and your husband should defend you to his family being that you are his wife and the mother of his child. It shows how much of a man he is but honestly open your mouth to them if it really bothers you!
Your in-laws are filthy animals...
I shower everyday and wash my hair every other. I don't see a problem with it. Showers are great i like to be clean. FYL OP that sucks that your in-laws criticize you about your hygiene being good
Um, hello! Doesn't everyone take a shower everyday???
No. It's not necessary. You're fine as long as your shower 2-3 times a week.
Makes you wonder how often they shower...
Do they also think it's weird to wash their hands after they use the bathroom? What else unsanitary might they be doing? I'd be nervous about touching them.
@ 72 Good point

Just don't shower at all for as long as you are there, see if they enjoy the stink.

I think your in-laws have yet to escape medieval times and come to the present, OP. FYL
For a present, give them some body sprays and deodorant. Let them know they need it. Revenge
