Today, I called complaints for my internet provider because, again, it's slowed to a crawl that would make dial-up laugh. They said that I live in a remote area, so maintenance is difficult. When I pointed out I only live ten minutes from the nearest city, they responded by saying they're my only option, so tough. FML

OP just call your internet service for a guy to come out there and check it out. If he doesnt do anything call them until its more cheap to fix your problem manually instead of service calls

That happened to me too. Just unplug everything from your modem and router and try hooking up your computer straight to your modem and seeing if it works. If it doe, then try replugging it back to the router. If that doesn't work, then it might be your router that's the problem.
