Do I sense a pattern here? "Something happened which involved something valuable covered in permanent marker perhaps in an embarrassing drawing. FML" and 100 comments pointing out that permanent marker is soluble in many weak nonpolar solvents.

this is a fail FML. there are many ways to get perm marker off. goo gone, nail polish remover, some good glass cleaner, carburetor/brake cleaner and muratic acid works the best _>
