Today, my little brothers wouldn't stop teasing me over the fact that I'm a virgin and they are not. They are 13 and 16, I'm 22. What's worse? My dad quickly joined them. FML

Don't mind them. Getting laid should never be a competition.

I really hope the 13 year old is kidding. I doubt you're equipped to deal with the possible consequences of sex at that age.

Are you a virgin for lack of trying? You may need to get out more. Then you can meet people and make friends. If you're still a virgin at least you'll be a virgin with friends instead of a friendless douche who slept with the town **** last friday.

Just because OP is a virgin doesn't mean they don't go out or have friends.

Are you sure this is the right site for you? ******* doesn't seem to be your strong point.

Trust me there is nothing wrong with being a virgin i was proud of being a virgin until i lost it however i was ready and still months later i dont regret it as for your 13 yo brother that isnt surprising todays world my current bf lost his v card at 13 to an older girl (while i do trust my bf on a lot of things and knowin how bad of a liar he is its prob true but i still have a hard time wrapping my head around an image of a 13 yo version of my bf getting it on with a 17 yo girl >.

My fiend who sleeps with multiple guys asked me why I don't "give it" to guys? XDXDXDXD WTF am I suppose to say??

My boyfriend was seduced by an older woman. I think he was 15 or 16 and she was about 23...I find it creepy but it happens. He does regret it now though.

My bf didnt learn from the first time though the second time he was in his early 20's and drunk as well as high and got seduced by a 35something woman just glad that we use protection every time

I really doubt OP's dad is still a virgin.

13 isnt too surprising... my ex lost it when he was 7 to his 17yo babysitter... he says he was "raped, but willing"

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that! I found out my husband was a virgin when we started dating and he was 23. He doesn't regret waiting for the right person. I, however, was 18 when I lost mine and have regretted it since. You don't want your first time to be something you'll think of as a mistake later on.

Wow, please don't listen to most of these people. It is fine to be a virgin, you always here that people regret their first time, but I have never heard anything about people regretting that they waited. I'm sorry that your brothers and father are being rude and idiotic. You should wait until you find someone that you love intensely. It is a gift that can only be given once, so make sure that person is amazing. My husband was a virgin when we got married, and I felt so special and loved that he waited all this time just for me. When you do have sex, that girl is going to feel so loved and so important that you waited for her. Good on you for not just following pressure and trends.

You should be the one bragging!

first of all parenting fail on your dad for encouraging your little brothers as if he's proud of them having sex at a young age, and second of don't feel bad i think that it's great that you haven't had sex yet it just means your waiting for the right person and Your not just having sex with just anyone.
