Today, my little brothers wouldn't stop teasing me over the fact that I'm a virgin and they are not. They are 13 and 16, I'm 22. What's worse? My dad quickly joined them. FML

Don't mind them. Getting laid should never be a competition.

I really hope the 13 year old is kidding. I doubt you're equipped to deal with the possible consequences of sex at that age.

Thats actually good man. Save it for someone special, or even until you marry. I know it seems hard but just trust us commenters lol.

Your family is awesome that you can't see that and have posted on FML, YDI.

I can't even understand this comment...

I'm 13, and what the HELL is wrong with my generation? Seriously, I get made fun of for liking Pokemon in Middle School. Back on topic though, just wait for the person you know you trust and care for.

I'm 17 and I still like Pokémon. The other kids just have much lower standards these days.

I'm 25 and still like Pokemon...well the original 150 lol

The original 150 are the best. The new ones are just awful. It's like the creators vomited up ideas and picked random chunks up together with a spoon. The new Pokémon don't even make sense.

I'm 20 and I like all the pokemon. 92 - if you've genuinely played all the games, given the new pokemon a chance and you still don't like them then fair enough but if you're just hating on the newer pokes because you think it's cool then that's just sad and, imo, you're missing out. Plus even if you don't like the newer pokemon you have to admit that the newer games have better mechanics.

Pokemon is an anime people... If you didn't know you can never grow out of anime :P

Ironically, it's the anime that I have definitely grown out of lol It's still fun but it's very definitely for young children so you can only enjoy it so much...some parts are just cringey or too obvious. The video game however, (and to a slightly lesser extent, the card game) is still accessible for all ages. If anything, it's now more adult friendly as the mechanics are more complex.

I'm 547, and I still like Digimon! Seriously, enough with posting your ages; Pokemon is for all ages, point made 1000 times over on pretty much every FML or comment ever made on FML.

113 - I have played the new ones, and quite frankly they didn't impress me. The plot was somewhat interesting, but I liked the graphics in HG and SS much better.

Simple. Your brothers are children and children are not expected to understand issues that require thought and introspection. You father is a pig and just as we don't expect a pig to roller skate we don't expect thought and introspection from it either. Keep going girl. You will have a priceless gift for your husband.

No one should make fun of anyone for that. It's not a bad thing to wait it's better than you sleeping around

There is nothing wrong with not being a **** and sleeping around. Tell your brothers to **** off.

The 13yr old...I feel bad for his GF. At that age he probably lasts maybe 16 seconds. I first had sex at age 18. The day after, I felt bad and wish I would have waited a few more years. Because I didn't love my BF. I just had sex to see what it was like. We broke up soon afterwards. You will eventually find someone. Don't rush it, make sure you are ready.

There are different kinds of relationships, and people don't have to be "couples" or "girlfriend/boyfriend" to have sex. "Sex friends" works fine. Still, if you felt bad because of it, it means it wasn't your kind of thing.

"Sex friends", according to the lives of my friends, really doesn't work for most people. I think for your first time it's better to be in a stable relationship.

181, I see no reason to think this way. Your friends do not necessarily represent majority of people. As for the first time... it makes sense to aim for the good first-time experience (attractive partner, etc). But a stable relationship? Nah. Someone pleasant/skilled/attractive should be enough.

I don't understand why so many people make a big deal out of people who are virgins. It's everyone's personal choice. (As an aside, I'm typing this on my Virgin Mobile phone.)

They think they are somehow more accomplished if they had sex. And therefore tease the other people who never have. Some are secretly jealous that they didn't wait but still poke fun of the person anyways.

Because they can't conceive that someone might just not want to have sex after a certain age, so in their minds, if you're a virgin after that, specially in a guy's case, it's because nobody wants to have sex with you, which is what makes you a loser to them. It's stupid, but that's the reasoning I've found those people to have. I'm a soon to be 23 year old girl and I have no problems stating to anybody who asks that I'm a virgin. And if anyone laughs at me for that, the joke's on them, not me. If I wanted to lose my virginity right now, it wouldn't take me a week to do it - I know a number of guys who would gladly take it anytime if I asked them to. But I'm not interested in having sex just for the sake of having sex, and haven't fallen in love with anyone yet, so I'm sticking to my virginity for now.

Perhaps losing their virginity is the greatest(and the only) achievement of their life?
