Today, my little sister asked if she could play on my laptop, but I said no because I was writing an essay for school. She then bit herself hard and showed the mark to our parents, saying I did it. As they bitched me out, my sister got on my laptop and deleted my half-finished essay. FML

It's okay you guys, I got it all sorted out not too long after I submitted this FML. My little sister got in trouble and I received more time on my essay which I passed so everything turned out great on this one. ^__^

I would have pulled a Jack Torrence... If you know what I mean, you're awesome

That's why you lock it with a long-ass password

I would have cut off all of her hair, and glued her hands together with gorilla glue. Yep yep!

And that's why I have a password on my laptop.

Raising a kid today in America is such an economic strain and a financial burden that parenting has turned into an act of heroism and is being stereotyped by the media into the simple tasks of providing food and tucking into bed. If you do these things you're a good parent as determined by the low bar in this country. Inversely this is reflecting bad on children growing up who despite being micromanaged every step of the way are getting away with a lot of bad behavior. Individualism and selfishness aren't being addressed, curbed or managed, a kid is the most vishiously selfish creature there is. A kids world is limited to their needs and desires because that's all whay they know. And parents are dumber than ever wanting to raise an independent, free, strong individuals. Face it, you're in America, you're only free to choose among the 27 flavors of donuts offered at Dunkin donuts!

To all the dumb parents our there: try to see the big picture and stop looking at your children like you do when they're at a live school recital, through a 5 inch camera phone screen! Think what really matters.
