Today, my mom asked if I wanted to come to dinner with my parents and my grandparents who are in from London. When we got to the restaurant, there was a wait. My mom made me walk home because they could get a table quicker for a group of four than a group of five. FML

Today, my mom and I went out to a fancy and expensive restaurant per her request; she told me it was her treat. After we ate our meals and the large check came, she excused herself to the bathroom. She didn't come back. I was dine-and-dashed by my own mother. FML

Today, I begged my parents not to take me to a restaurant for my birthday, but sure enough, they took me to one, along with my siblings, aunts, uncles, you name it. Ordering with them is a nightmare, so after a whole half-hour the waiter still hadn’t gotten everyone’s complicated orders written down. FML

Today, I invited my girlfriend to go eat out, hoping to put her in a really romantic mood. She decided to tell her friend, who then invited herself and another couple along. I ended up being made fifth wheel, and had to sit alone at an adjacent table. FML

Today, I went to my favorite restaurant with my mother. The food took a little longer than usual to arrive and my mom threw a fit, complete with kicking and screaming, in the middle of the restaurant. My mom and I are both banned for life. FML

Today, I asked my parents why we hadn't been out to eat as a family for so long. Both mom and dad agreed, so we made plans to go have breakfast at the Waffle House. Upon arriving, Dad threw a tantrum in the restaurant over nothing, and insisted on yelling at us the entire time. Guess I got my answer. FML

Today, my parents started fighting at a restaurant. Embarrassed, I went to the restroom to get away and stayed in there for about 15 minutes, knowing how long their fights can last. When I came back, they were gone. They'd ditched me, and left me to walk several miles back home. FML

you guys are a bunch of whiny babies. if my mom told me to walk home i'd be like "hells yeah exercise!" and besides, it seems like the grandparents don't come very often so it would be important to her mother i suppose to bond with her parents before they leave and not skip out just because ur a big baby and can't walk home. and i agree with #53..i too work at a restaurant and it can def seat at least an extra person. AND don't bother replying or saying BS about my comment, i won't read it anyways :)

what a bitch of a mom. #54. i'll respond anyway, because your comment made me mad. who goes 'hells yeah exercise!' besides you? a little over-enthusiastic, aren't you? also, the OP could have walked after dinner if they wanted exercise so much. also, what if their home was far away? did you ever stop to think that it would be important to him/her to visit with his/her grandparents? they could have waited for a table instead of forcing the grandkid to go home alone.
