Today, my mom informed me that she doesn't wash my clothes anymore. Instead, she sprays them with Febreze to "save money". FML

um yea I comprehend that bud but thanks anyway for being a jackass cuz you think your the only one that got it.. and calling op lazy doesnt make me a moron.. yea like you said a parent can do you a favor once by doing your laundry but by the way op worded it, it insinuates that the parents do his/her laundry quite frequently.. therefore that makes op lazy! thank you very much.

today while reading a book that just so happened to be a story about a lesbian couple, my mother walks in, sees the book and says "you better not be a lesbian." I Am. FML.

wash your own damn clothes dumbass.

"How did you not notice that, ewww" Well, maybe her mother started this recently and she discovered it quite early? You don't know how long this has been going on, now do you? "Wash your own clothes" Maybe he/she is 13? I don't do my own laundry and I'm 17.. I don't have time for it, I don't know how. And for as far as I know this is normal. None of my friends (or enemy's), still living at home, do their own laundry..

"Don't have time" -- pah. You make time for it. Do you expect mommy to do your laundry forever? What are you gonna do when you go off to college and have to use a laundry facility to wash your clothes? Mommy won't be there for you to do it. You can do it at night before you go to bed or on weekends when you're not in school. It's really not -that- time consuming.

@ 169 Don't make so many conclusions. I do not expect her to do it so long, not at all. I'm not a little kid, it's just normal here, to not do your laundry when you live at home. Don't get angry at me for this, she never complained about it and I just never thought about it, because nobody my age does, so it never came to mind (until now). I won't be moving out (because they don't want me to) 'till at least the summer of next year, but when I will, I will definitely learn it, because I really want to move out and be independent. Besides all that, I'm pretty sure she has more time than I do. I go to school 3 days, work 2 days from 8 'till 5, when she only works 2 days from 9 'till 5. I also just applied for another job (the job I do now is volunteering at the animal shelter), which will also take a lot of time. And I'm not home, most weekends.

Oh, and she told me I'm way more mature than she was at my age. She knew how to make macaroni when she was 21. I've known this since I was 14. She told me she never had friends at this age because she was to scared to talk to people. I've gotten over that when I was 15. She didn't until she was 25. I'm gonna ask her how old she was when she learned how to do the laundry!

Teens who can't do laundry, your parents aren't doing their job. I started doing my own laundry when I was 7. How do you plan to survive if you go to college? Can you cook? Do you know how to clean a toilet? Do you know how to balance a checkbook? Do you have any life skills whatsoever? *SMH* Well, YDI to your parents when you end up moving back in in your 20s because you can't handle life.

I literally know someone who is 19 and still living with his parents who does that for himself because HE is too lazy to do laundry.
