Today, my mom sold my Magic box at a garage sale because I "never use it." Locked inside it was my fake ID, a couple of hundred bucks, and a bag of weed. She can't remember who she sold it to. FML

Today, my mom found my weed stash and went berserk, grounding me and saying she's going to have my bedroom door removed. Less than an hour later, I found her laughing and smoking the same stash with my dad in the backyard. FML

Today, I hid my weed stash in a bag from an expensive jewellery store. My sister walked into my room, went "Ooh, what's this?" and grabbed the bag. I grabbed it back and ad-libbed that it was her Christmas gift. Now I actually have to buy her expensive jewellery. FML

Today, I discovered that my parents rooted through our house looking for junk to sell at a garage sale. They sold all of my books from my bookshelf. When I freaked, out my mom said 'well you never read them'. There was about $300 hidden between the pages of those books. They made $60. FML

Today, I found out that my mom found a paper with my long lost username and password to an old crypto wallet with 17 bitcoins. She'd thrown it in the garbage bin before realising what it was. The bin was empty when I went running to check it. FML

Today, I came from a 12-hour shift to find my clothes and stuff outside, and the locks changed. I called my mom to let me in and she told me, “Hell the fuck no, I’m not having a drug addicted junkie up in my house! You’re no longer my daughter!” and hung up. Today, my mother has taken her drug paranoia to a new level. She threw away an open but nearly full bag of dried mint because she's sure I emptied and refilled the bag with marijuana to hide it from her. She then tried to ground me in my own house in front of my wife and daughter. FML

I won't give my opinion on whether I approve of your secret stash or not, but damn, your mom is mean for selling your stuff like that! I can't even imagine being related to someone with that little respect for me :( **** your life! Also: If you mom is as respectful with other things in your life, I don't blame you for needing weed.

I love how all these people are saying that pot is legal in Colorado and Washington. It's actually not legal, yet. Last time I checked, the law doesn't go in affect until sometime in December, for Washington at least. I only know about Washington, not Colorado.

It is legal in Washington (not sure other states) in only ONE way; As medical if prescribed by a doctor. If they really want legal pot they should go to Canada.

The only people who could feel sorry for this girl is if they themselves have or do this. It's good that this happened. You shouldn't be doing drugs, it is illegal for a reason! You shouldn't have a fake ID to get alcohol, they have an age limit for a reason. As for the money that sucks, but it's your fault in the first place.
