Today, I visited my family. Over the course of 2 hours, my brother punched me, and my mom slapped me across the face after drinking way too much wine. When I started gathering my things to leave, my mom started crying about how I don't visit enough. FML

HA! That sounds like my relationship with my mother. I'm 29 too but she acts like I'm 2! You have to put your foot down and probably separate yourself a little bit from her to make her realize you are an adult! Sometimes it's harder for some parents. :(

I know exactly how you feel my mother moved in with me and brought all her hoarding crap and now when I ask her not to put something somewhere I'm not allowing her to live her, her crap is in every square inch of my house if anything IM the one not being allowed to live here.
