Today, and ever since we announced our pregnancy, my mother-in-law has invaded our home, taken over my hobby room, and tries to run our lives. I tried to go to the pub for a pint, one solitary pint, and she came and dragged me out by my ear, because "drinking is a sin", and I hadn’t done the dishes yet. FML

I just had my 1st drink of beer last month on a holiday. I had been looking forward to it and even looked through a few pubs to find the one that tickled my fancy the most. I went in there, proudly took a seat on a stool (right against the bar with the metal railing to prop one's feet against). The pub-attendant was quite nice, letting me try out 2 brews before I made a choice of what beer I wanted a pint of. I got my very first beer moustache too! If you would rather a beer, go for it.
