Spicy
Today, my mother confused the terms 'necromancy' and 'necrophilia'. We had a great talk about why you shouldn't have sex with dead people. FML

Well if you learnt necromancy you wouldn't have to commit necrophillia

And what makes "necromancy" all that much more appropriate to discuss than "necrophilia"? If anything, only one of them can actually occur outside of fiction. Sooo...

Yes, because when dealing with family members it is very important to remember that you MUST avoid talking to them at all costs. All conversations must be immediately derailed by directing the other party to a computer and running out of the room as quickly as possible.

I think what he meant was that he could've showed his mom the difference between the two with an online dictionary.

I'm pretty sure my mom has done the same thing

Well, both practices are a bad use of your time, so even if she confuses them, she's still right.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. Both are a no-no, the conversation probably would've gone exactly the same regardless of the which word was used XD

my mom was given morphine or something like that at the er, and we went to Safeway to pick up her prescriptions. she suddenly said, "I have a chocolate fetish. can we buy some?" I said, "mom, don't you mean you have a chocolate craving?" she said, "no. is it craving? that doesn't sound right... no, I have a chocolate fetish." couldn't remember the discussion at all the next morning.

I can't be the only person wondering how the conversation got to necromancy in the first place...

I confused necrophilia with narcolepsy when telling the doctor what I thought was wrong with me... talk about an odd look.

you probably shouldnt conjure the dead either?
