I hate it when parents do shit like that. Like its not the 1980s anymore. these days a lot of schools heavily depend on the Internet and we need it for exams, studying, assignments, etc. People rarely use books to study anymore.

So. Many. Solutions. I highly doubt OP couldn't come up with these on his/her own. But it adds up to the fun/dramatic-factor of the FML. Very cute how everybody is thinking along and coming up with possible ways to solve this 'problem'. @OP: It sucks you won't have internet until your mom gets back, though. At least you have whatever you're posting this FML with.

Why don't you just buy a new router. They're not that expensive and I know it's a waste because you already have one but it's better than failing/missing an exam because your mobile data stops working half way.

LIBRARY! If it's a public library and that have a time limit, tell the it's for an exam so you don't get interrupted.
