Today, I woke up bleeding from every orifice in my body. I've got a nose bleed from my medication, my gums bled when I brushed my teeth, I'm on my period, and I have hemorrhoids. FML

Today, my mom was acting really pissy, and I couldn't help but mutter that she must be on her period. Five hours later, I'm glued to the toilet with my phone, because she went all out for revenge and spiked my dinner with some hellishly potent kind of laxative. FML

Today, I'm stuck at home waiting on a plumber to come fix the flooding in my basement. The flooding happens when any sink, shower, or toilet in the house is used. Today is also the day that I started my period. Without water. FML

Today, I envy all the mothers who get to hide in their bathroom, engulfed in tears, when at their breaking points. I'm a single mom of two heathens. Today, like most days, really I had to threaten violence at the top of my lungs so they would stop fighting long enough for me to simply use the bathroom. FML

I feel for you. Leave the house for a couple of days. I get PMS especially bad and try to stay away from everyone and control my mood swings the best I can, but it's almost impossible to not piss someone else off. :{

They'd probably find a reason to yell at him, too, if he decided to do that. I'd advise sleeping over, OP, maybe for a couple of days. Just let things blow over. Ignore phone calls from them until they start acting like... sane people.
