Wow I don't even know what I can say to this OP. Your mother is a disgusting old relic from an age I wish we could leave behind, but the "stragglers" keep popping up. I hope you have other family and friend support, and I echo the sentiments and kudos that you turned out okay despite what I'm sure she tried to impress upon you. My husband is white and although I'm sure there are some opinions about this both of our families have always been supportive, and our friends more so. Good luck OP!

Good for you. It must be hard to know your mother does not support your choice in love. You might have to make the hard choice and cut her out of your life, at some point. If you decide to have kids, you would not want her around them.

Good for you OP for having a lasting relationship with somone you love. I know how you feel, my mother is racist towards my husband because he's Native American. She even went so far as to ask if his Tipi collapsed yet. Don't listen to her or let her ruin your relationship. As long as you're happy that's all that matters.
