Today, my niece, who is fifteen, convinced my six-year-old daughter that her name is spelled C-U-N-T, and just pronounced as Catherine. FML

Your niece is confused, its actually her name that is ****. Also, I would shove her down the stairs, and say that you tripped and accidentally bumped into her.

Most six-year-olds know how to spell their own name. Such a prank would not be possible, if the parents did their job.

Children that she can be gullible and convinced they were spelling their make incorrectly if someone they look up to or are trying to please tells them so. The poor parenting bandwagon is almost as old as the dump him/her one. I know me and my sister would often try to convince that our parents lied to is and this is the proper way as jokes when we were little. Sometimes it worked. Each time it did the punishments got harsher. That phase of our lives didn't last. Op probably is doing a fine job as a parent and was just undermined by an early teen brat who is testing her limits on cruelty. See, even with good parents, it's normal for kids to be ass gnomes and test limits. If the niece's parents do nothing about it though, then that is poor parenting.

You should have taught her how to spell her name already... My 2 year old can almost spell her name and she knows it's not c-u-n- t... YDI for being lazy about her education

I **** believe she did that, it's such a dirty word.

I just see her teacher's face when she's grading papers.

I think she'll realize that it's not right it shouldn't take too long when she learns spelling...

oh my, +86 vs +86! Tight contest for top comment :)
