Today, my nine year old stepson overheard me telling my husband that I was almost out of my favorite shampoo, and since it was discontinued, I couldn't buy any more. He got in the shower and happily emptied the bottles down the drain. FML

That sucks what a little brat. A 9 year old knows better that's just vindictive. I would actually destroy something he really likes and not even worry about "being the adult" or the "better person". Like "oh dear I didn't know I wasn't supposed to submerge your gameboy in water it was dirty :(" kind of thing. Then I would go online and find my favorite shampoo and order it.

Guys, telling her to go online and buy more is a nice idea, but you're missing the point of the word "discontinued." That word means it won't be made anymore, so she won't be able to buy it because it will no longer exist. Think a bit, guys.
