I hope you will take a break from your parent's toxicity and put them on a long time out. No child was ever harmed from not being around toxic grandparents. In fact, exposing your children to people who treat the children's parents and the children with such disrespect isn't really good for children at all. Since you don't want there to be even more toxicity, just be "too busy" when they call and have too much on the plate to be able to schedule a visit. If they want to spend time with you and their grandchild, they need to actually act like adults and not tantruming toddlers.
How does that make sense? They're being childish.

How exactly does this punish the father?
"Harold, we have to get back at our son. I know! Let's take away our granddaughters presents instead! It makes the most sense!"
