Your parents are just trying to be polite when they said they "couldn't afford" your pictures. Do you really want them to tell you straight-up that you are ugly? Since they are too polite, I'll come right out and say it: Yes, those pants DO make your butt look fat, because your butt IS fat.

FYL. Your parents are complete twats, though. I love my dogs, but who the **** gets professional photos of them? Tell your parents I'll sell my TV to the dog for £300.

They do say a Dog is a mans bestfriend... on another note i say give yourself up for adoption or emancipate yourself coz when the dog becomes a higher priority than you, thats usually a sign to move on

Tell them you hope when it comes time for the dog to pick out their nursing home, that it doesn't choose the pound.

Don't worry about it too much. I actually told my parents NOT to by my senior portraits because I thought it was stupid to spend money on a picture of me when they could just take one themselves. But, I guess the same goes for the dog. I mean, I understand that pets are part of the family, but professional pictures? Really?

What? Dog's don't deserve portraits too? Its the least you could do for the poor dog. He's probably your elder in dog years anyways. Plus, he never got the opportunity to get a high school education and make something of himself. (Well, I'm just guessing its a he) He's gonna be stuck with your parents until he dies. Animals are people too! But seriously, its not a big deal if they want professional pictures of their dog instead of you. He's probably just more photogenic. :)
