Today, I got my nails, hair, and makeup professionally done for prom. My dad got his camera out, and I presumed he was taking pictures of my date and me. When I looked at the pictures later, they were all of the dog. FML

Today, my dad and his new wife got their wedding pictures done. Out of over 150 pictures, I was only in one. The family dog was in all of them. In the one picture of me, I was holding the dog's leash while he took a dump. FML

Today, I got my graduation photos back. I'd sent them to a friend for touching up, but unfortunately we had a major argument recently. I guess that's why in the photos I've been photoshopped out and replaced with a goat. FML

Today, I was taking out the trash and I came upon a bill from a veterinary hospital. It was for $50 and it was a bill to put my dog down. My Dad said my dog was missing and I put hundreds of signs around the city. FML

Wow, this is something that should've been on that episode of Bullshit about pets. That's nuts. Taking your own pictures of a pet is one thing, but professional photos? And purchasing it with money that could've been spent on pictures of your own child? That's just wrong. Seriously.

Sure, her parents don't technically owe her a damned thing - but that doesn't mean they aren't being total assholes and selfish pricks by treating her like that. And you sure are portraying a ****** up image of the grown-up world claiming that their behaviour is in line with it. It's not. What they did was unbelievably out of taste. I sure as hell hope you don't ever have kids.

Kellster, there are a few things I'd like to say to you. One, you are an IDIOT and like a few other people, read this FML completely wrong. Her parent's told her that they couldn't AFFORD her senior portraits. She said that that was OKAY. As in she didn't want them that much. The FML is that her parents lied to her and spent the money they "didn't have" for her portraits on portraits for the dog. If they had just been straight up with what they were doing with her in the first place and asked if she was okay with not have senior portraits, it would probably be fine. Two, I hope you never reproduce. The fact that you think her parents lying to her is "part of the adult world" and that its OKAY is just plain wrong! Her parents shouldn't have lied to her, PERIOD. God, seriously, just shut the **** up, I hate people like you! You say "your parents don't owe you a damned thing" SERIOUSLY? ******* HYPOCRITES! If you can HONESTLY tell me that you never expected your parents to pay for ANYTHING for you and if you wanted something (like clothes, food, etc) than you got a job and paid for it yourself your ENTIRE LIFE (including after birth, remember, your parents don't owe you a damned thing, according to your twisted ideals) then I take back what I said about you being a hypocrite. Damn OP, I'd hate to have parents like yours. I'll never understand people who love their animals THAT much. It's just a dog. Any parent that would put a pet before their own kid fails miserably. Anybody that treats their dog like a person are really strange. I mean, not only dogs but any pet. I like cats myself but the only money I spend on him is for food and vet bills, not ridiculous photos.
