Today, my rabbit died. He died a painful death from ingesting too much carpet. I now have no rabbit and a patchy carpet. FML

Assuming that you knew this was a problem, why the hell were you keeping your rabbit in an area where he could continue eating it? Poor rabbit.

Shame on you! You should get a boyfriend to munch your carpet, not a little bunny. You're going to have a hard time getting a guy interested in your patchy carpet, so you should probably just shave "down there" and start all over again.

Spending one minute on any reputable website about rabbits (such as rabbit.org) would have made it abundantly clear to you that ingesting carpet is a TREMENDOUS and incredibly common problem for rabbits. I have two rabbits who often run free in my house and they have to be vigilantly watched always. This is completely your fault due to negligence. Your attitude about it is offensively offhand. My rabbits are loving, inquisitive, intelligent creatures. Just like cats or dogs. No one should ever get a rabbit who isn't willing to take one to the vet regularly, especially when they are ill. It infuriates me that so many people acquire pets like rabbits and treat them like mindless insignificant playthings who aren't worth proper care.

calm down, the OP is obviously upset and didn't want it to happen. you need to chill out

ahaha chop the rabbit, take the carpet out and glue it bak on ;)

If your rabbit is larger than the hole in the carpet, dye his hair the color of the carpet..................

I'm sorry your rabbit died, and the other remarks are pretty harsh considering you just lost a pet. But I have to ask... why wasn't your rabbit in a cage? They are meant to be housed in a cage for a reason; and are supposed to be supervised when outside their cage... also for a reason.
