Today, after I warned my son repeatedly that if he wanted a rabbit he had to clean and feed it, I checked on it. It wasn’t just dead, it was dead and rotting in a pool of its own pee and faeces. I yelled at him, but he just shrugged and told me rabbits are boring and he forgot it was even there. FML

Today, I watched as my poor old cat dragged his ass across our living room carpet, leaving an equally long shit stain on our pristine carpet. My pleas for him to stop only made his diarrhea worse as he ran off. FML

Today, my six year-old daughter discovered the family's pet rabbit in the basement freezer. The rabbit had died almost a year ago, and we'd stored it in the freezer, intending to bury it later. Here's to the trauma of losing the family pet. Twice. FML

Today, I found an injured rabbit by the side of the road. I was about to take it to the local vet, when my husband picked it up and casually snapped its neck. "No rabbit's worth my money" he said, forgetting that he's been a jobless moocher for over 3 years. Pass me the goddamn divorce papers. FML

Shame on you! You should get a boyfriend to munch your carpet, not a little bunny. You're going to have a hard time getting a guy interested in your patchy carpet, so you should probably just shave "down there" and start all over again.

>sigh< not-so-secretly in love with perdix OP, "too much" carpet? Did you think there was an acceptable amount of carpet for the rabbit to munch? Why didn't you stop it or keep it in a cage or warren? Losing a pet sucks and I won't say YDI but you certainly didn't deserve to have the rabbit in the first place.

Why would you let your rabbit do that? The carpet doesn't exactly eat itself, you know. And if you didn't know, why on Earth would you leave your rabbit unsupervised? It's the pet and you're the owner, not the other way around.
