YDI for dividing the work in such a way that you can fail because of your partner. If you did this properly, you would have done it together, as research partners are supposed to - yes, there is individual work along the way, but you should have been meeting prior to integrate the individual work into a single report.
She sucks.
Don't trust a ho Never trust a ho Maybe she got the dude who spooged in her eyes to type it for her. YDI for not having a social life.
his username is NUsConstantine, and from Illinois, that means is most likely a student @ Northwestern University. They have no social life there. I know, I was born and raised in Evanston, but not good enough for NU :(
My cousin and uncle went to NU and they agreed that the "social life" where I went to school was equally dismal. People still had sex there, it was just not as random and rampant as was at a proper party school. While the scenario I proposed is less likely at NU, it would still be possible.
thumbs up for the splooge comment
My cousin once woke up during the night and thought he was blind because he couldn't see anything when he turned on the light. Turns out the power had gone out. The thing was the moon was out and you could still easily see. But the pisser was when he cried out "ahhh im blind!". He also went to a school for the mentally gifted.
You should have nagged her to do her work at least once... and like 3 weeks before too. I mean come on, a 10 page paper wouldn't have happened overnight anyways (at least not a very good one). That's what partner work is all about. But I know... some people just refuse to do their share and have no regard to how that will effect you :/
It all depends on your professor and the circumstances behind the research project. I've learned that even though a member of your team doesn't pull their own weight and fails to produce their portion of a project, most professors will respond with a simple, "Why did you wait until the last minute to complete the project?" or "Why did you not inform me of the situation earlier?" Regardless what may have happened, it is your responsibility to make sure you get the best grade possible, and if that means cracking the whip and hounding your partner to finish his/her portion, then so be it. Do what #10 said above and hope that your professor is more understanding and merciful than a pompous realist.
Yeah, I worked with people like this before. If you "nag" them, usually they'll lie to you about it. And surprise, surprise, they magically don't have anything ready by the due date. Forward the email to your prof. You should be able to get the credit you deserve (and that she doesn't.)

lol they really didnt think their excuse out :P
Why should he have to babysit her? She's old enough to do it herself without someone having to check up on her.
