Today, my roommate and I finally got fed up with this increasingly, horrible stench that has been in our apartment for a few days now. Leaving it for our other roommates to handle, we selfishly left to get yogurtland. Moments later, we both expressed that we haven't seen our cat in a while. FML

Today, my roommate and I noticed a foul smell in our apartment. After looking around for a little while, I found that her cat had pooped on a pair of my jeans, and apparently tried to cover it up by dragging a shirt over the mess. FML

Today, I came home to a terrible smell in the apartment. Three hours, and a scoured kitchen later, I took the trash out. The smell was not my apartment, but from just across the alley; a neighbor had moved and emptied their fridge. Six more days of sunned milk until pickup. FML

Today, after I had the place to myself for a while and it was easy to clean, my roommate returned and I woke up to trash piling up, dishes everywhere, and luggage full of sweaty laundry. Oh, and it smells like poo again, because he doesn't regularly shower. I want to scream. FML

Today, I came home after a short trip. Walking through the door, an overpowering smell indicated that in my rush to leave I'd forgotten to bring the cat litter tray indoors. The place was covered in cat urine. It was as if I'd created a cycling ecosystem of evaporated urine turning into urine rain-clouds. FML

Today, I came home from a two-week vacation. When I walked into my house, I found cat poop everywhere. It took me several hours to clean it all up, and the house still smells terrible. The worst part is that I've never owned a cat in my life. FML

hahaha this one made me legitimately lol oh also to #70, it only takes 3 days for a stench to kick up. And cats are pretty independent by nature, so its understandable that they could vanish for a day or two.

Okay I have to come to her defense in this, to be brief she MIGHT not be a bad animal caretaker. This does happen, and I've been a member of PETA and a strong animal lover all my life. this does happen, sometimes an animal goes missing, and you see the food dish has food in it and you think "Okay so and so has fed him/her" and so and so thinks the same thing. Your both SO used to having the cat around, that you don't bring it up to each other...then several days later it gets brought up in a conversation and you think "OH ****!" I used to have a cat that I loved, she snuck out but since she was an anti social cat, we never seen her around much. then after she went missing for two days we clued in, but it was too late and the temperature drop of 40c degrees...We never found her. I'm just saying that this does happen, and while it is sometimes negligence, it isn't always...

what really ticks me off how pets and whatnot are so precious to all of ya (dont let them out of your sight for more than an hour!! wtf), and the shit we do to other humans.. is as normal as it gets. something is ridiculously wrong. if I have a chance to save either a cat or a kid, who will I? ofc the kid. the sad fact is that I know people that would choose the cat. anything in this world can be funny. if it aint to you, your loss.
