I hope you created a contract and had it signed with said roommate. Would've been a lot easier to pay it yourself then, go after them with the contract. Sorry op :/

Don't you have any friends who would let you use their shower for a few minutes in the meantime? Or family? There has to be some kind of solution to the showering problem.

Uh I personally would use that group trip as a time to pack their things and have it by the door when they get back and tell them to pull that bs on someone they went on their trip with.

Can't you pay it? Utility companies don't usually care who pays a bill, as long as it's paid. In my area water is pretty cheap ( about 30 bucks a month for 4 or 5 people). Unless your in between pay checks then FML OP.

If all else fails and you can't use a friend's or relative's shower, then get some disposable adult washcloths. While they don't make you feel as clean as taking a shower does, they can be pretty effective in a desperate situation and are better than nothing. Get some dry shampoo, too.
