Today, my roommate demanded that I dance naked for him as a birthday present. When I declined, he offered to pay me. When I declined again, he stormed off to pout in his room and played really loud depressing music. We're both guys and I have 11 months left on my lease with him. FML

Dumb-ass! You could have been living rent-free for a year if you'd just wiggle your dick a bit. This month it's a birthday dance, but next month, it could be a Labor Day dance, then Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Groundhog Day, St. Patrick's, April Fools', Mother's Day (awkward), Father's Day (super creepy) and Independence Day, and boom, you haven't paid rent for a year! You'd better oil up and get a G-string.

While it's true he's creepy, "we're both guys" shouldn't really have made any difference. If one of you were female, it would still be creepy for one to demand naked dances from the other, and create an uncomfortable living situation for the next eleven months, right?

There is a higher chance of mutual attraction (or at least lack of repulsion) if they are different sex simply because more people are straight. But I agree - the same FML ending "I don't fancy my roommate" would be just as disturbing.
