Today, my housemate revealed her supposed loss of function of her arm was all a lie. I spent hours in the ER with her and had to go to work the next day. Last time she lied about cancer. I'm stuck sharing with her for another 7 months. FML

Today, because I'm still the emergency contact for my ex, I'm waiting to take him home after a routine surgery. I'm also trapped with his potential next girlfriend, who showed up and is trying to become best friends with me. She has giggled after every sentence for the past three hours like she's twelve. FML

Unless the place belongs to him, he cannot kick you out. Even if it belongs to him, he has to give you some time before you are required to move out (I would believe even more so now that you are bedridden). I have a feeling he is acting like this all because he wants his own privacy, or he wants his girlfriend to move in.

He just wants his girlfriend to move in. Contact a lawyer about this what to do in case he gets nasty, just in case!

Yeah, screw him. He can't make demands like that unless he is also your landlord, and even then he has to give you notice. Last time I checked "makes girlfriend uncomfortable" was not grounds for eviction. Just stay until a court says you have to leave. Rental laws favor the tenant in nearly every state.
