You think that sucks? I once got stalked by a girl that looked like frankenstein. Turns out she had a huge nipple fetish and tried to literally slice off my nipples with a Swiss army knife. Thank god she couldn't catch me.
whatever happened to the show must go on? if it's too weird for them then recast the part.
should've said yes then after the play broke up... that's what I would've done anyway. but that wasn't your fault. everybody upset for nothing
Drama kid indeed.
Sounds like the kind of people who condone harassment.
I would of said yes just for the play but I don't though...
The show must go on!
what production was it?
I hope he doesn't intend to pursue a career in theatre. This is highly unprofessional behavior and professional director/producer would put up with it.
"Pointedly' turning someone down is going to destroy whatever confidence they had. Maybe if you hadn't have been a dick and turned them down gently they might have been okay. At least partly your fault OP

There is no understudy?
I'm sorry OP! It's not your fault you didn't want to get into a relationship. Honestly, that's pretty immature of him if he can't be professional about this and just move on. It shouldn't all be blamed on you.
