Today, my son couldn't find all the parts to his Cub Scout uniform. I had a serious talk with him about being prepared, and how he would need to live with the consequences of not having the right outfit on. When we arrived at the meeting, everyone was in costumes because it's Halloween. I forgot. FML

Parent fail... wow I hate it when my parents are hypocrites! And obviously it’s not Halloween but it’s probably the last meeting before Halloween and they were celebrating. (@#3)

I think it's funny- not in a "haha" way- that everyone thinks the parent is an asshole. If the kid keeps losing his shit, he needs to STOP LOSING HIS SHIT- PERIOD. OP, don't even stress on it. It's more like a funny story than an "FML" post.

YDI it for being too harsh on him. The Cub Scout motto is "do your best." Save the "be prepared" motto for when he's a Boy Scout.
