Today, my son couldn't find all the parts to his Cub Scout uniform. I had a serious talk with him about being prepared, and how he would need to live with the consequences of not having the right outfit on. When we arrived at the meeting, everyone was in costumes because it's Halloween. I forgot. FML

Parent fail... wow I hate it when my parents are hypocrites! And obviously it’s not Halloween but it’s probably the last meeting before Halloween and they were celebrating. (@#3)

I must be stupid. I had to read your comment twice in order to understand it, being it lacks complete punctuation.

you could have said you were dressed as a plainclothes police officer.

If you feel that your son is old enough to be responsible for his uniform then he should be old enough to remember that he was supposed to wear a costume. In that case it is his own fault. On the other hand, If you felt that YOU should have been the one to remember the costume, then why on earth would you lecture him about his uniform? If he is old enough to be responsible for one, then why not the other? YDI

actually i think they're going to have halloween on the 31st this year....dumbass

why the hell is everyone talking about karma. anyway this is america champ. how's he gunna die from not wearing some outfit that is essentially useless and only for show. give him a cell phone. if he's ever lost in the woods he'll call for help.

He probably wouldn't get service in the woods anyway, dude.

First you give him a typical american preach about consequences blabla and then you suck... please don't do that ever again.

retard, go die. you sicken me disgrace scum of earth and mankind. i think you better tell the world how sincerely sorry you are peasant youth!

I think we all know those boy scouts will **** you up if you dare forget your uniform for one day.

Why would he have to live with it for the rest of his life if he forgot his uniform? Slight overreaction there methinks.
