Today, my tampon string was hanging from my bathing suit. My boyfriend thought it was a thread hanging from my bikini bottom. He publicly pulled out my tampon. FML

Today, I went swimming. While I was walking along side of the pool, everyone was staring at me. I began to think that my diet was really working. It was only an hour later, in the changing rooms, that I noticed the string from my Tampax that was sticking out of my swimming costume. FML

Today, my boyfriend bought a bikini he wanted me to wear in our hot tub. Unfortunately, I ran out of swimsuits for my daily swim at the public pool, so I took the new bikini. Now I know why he wanted to be alone when I wore it, as water turns it see-through and melts the stitching so it falls off. FML

Today, an ocean wave tore off my bikini bottoms. It took me a few seconds to notice after I stood up, by which time all of my friends, and quite a few other people, had seen my downstairs zone and laughed at me since I recently trimmed it into a love heart shape for my boyfriend. FML

Today, while in the hot tub with my friends, my gum fell out of my mouth and I had no idea where it went. Later that night I realized it had fallen down my swimsuit and had become adhered to my pubic hairs which then stuck to my underwear. FML

Um, for those of you saying the boyfriend here is stupid and should know better, how the hell would he know the thickness of a tampon string? Totally not his fault. I'm a guy and my girlfriend goes into unnecessary specifics about her time of the month and the process of taking out and putting in tampons (which should not involve me at all, no one wants to hear that), and even I don't know what a tampon string looks like. WE DON'T USE TAMPONS. Let's use our heads, please, girls. :)

Lol @ 52...I don't expect a guy to know what one looks like, but I do expect one to respect me in public and not go tugging at things around my crotch while there are other people around. And I dunno about it being more embarrassing for the guy, he could conceal it in his hand and throw it away quickly afterwards. The girl probably had to make her way to the bathroom with a big red splotch on her bikini bottoms, dripping blood all over the place =/ (unless her period was still really light at that point, I guess...)
