Today, my teacher was talking about anorexia and bulimia. Midway through the lesson, she stopped and knowingly asked if I wanted to share my experiences with the class. I don't have an eating disorder, just a screwed-up metabolism. FML

Even though you don't have a disorder, that's horribly wrong of her to call you out on it in front of the whole class.

You're teacher is ignorant.. Wow. sorry OP !

FYL that your teacher thinks you're this way, but YDI for that metabolism. Trust me, you don't have a clue as to how many people want to be in your place! LOL xD

I think you should speak to the administration. That'd be uncomfortable and embarrassing for anyone and could be very traumatic for someone who actually had an ED. No student should have to deal with that.

My sister and I have had similar problems. People sometimes just up and ask us if we're anorexic, no we just eat well. In sixth grade my sister's teacher had the students list everything they ate for the whole week and to include the ingredients of the meal cause she wanted to see if my sister was starving because my sister only weighed seventy pounds back then but, the teacher didn't take into account that my sister was just small. My sister did the assignment and it turned out that she ate better than the whole class even the teacher.

People used to call me the same thing... I know how you feel. But hey at least we're healthy! :)

You should tell your parents and have a chat with the principal and the teacher about that insensitivity.

Now, that's just plain rude! I would put that teacher on check.
